If this happens when you open apps from Lib Launcher, check whether Lib Launcher is also set up in Good Lock's MultiStar. This combination can prevent apps from opening on the cover screen and can shift or compress the Lib Launcher home screen.

Check both of these settings:

1. Open Good Lock → MultiStar → I ♡ Galaxy Foldable → Launcher Widget. If Lib Launcher is selected, deselect it.
2. Open Settings → Cover screen → Widgets. If the Good Lock Launcher widget is on your cover screen, remove it.

Either setting can cause the problem on its own. Lib Launcher does not need to be added to MultiStar to work on the cover screen. Reinstalling Lib Launcher may not help because these settings are stored outside the app.

If you only see “Open phone to continue” when opening Recent apps, see the next section instead.

Open Lib Launcher on your phone's main screen, then go to Experimental features → Use the built-in recent apps screen and turn it on. This shows Lib Launcher's recent apps screen in place of Samsung's screen. This is a workaround for the recent apps screen only. The built-in screen cannot close apps, and this setting will not fix ordinary apps that refuse to open.

Samsung's system decides whether an app is fitted above the cameras. Lib Launcher cannot change this from inside the app, but if you add the app in Good Lock's MultiStar, it is fitted above the cameras even when you open it from Lib Launcher.

On One UI 9, add an app like this:

1. Open Good Lock → MultiStar → I ♡ Galaxy Foldable → Launcher Widget.
2. Select the apps you want fitted above the cameras, then tap Done.

When you open an added app, an expand button appears next to the navigation buttons. Each tap switches between fitted above the cameras, a tall window, and full screen. This choice applies to all added apps.

Do not select Lib Launcher itself, as it can cause “Open phone to continue”. On a Z Flip6 with One UI 9, every app already avoids the cameras, so you do not need this setting.

In Lib Launcher, open Experimental features → Keep the button ready while locked. This can help when the floating button disappears and does not return. With this setting on, the button can also appear on the lock screen.

In Lib Launcher, open Settings → Rotation & keyboard → Keep clear of the keyboard and turn it on. While a keyboard is open, Lib Launcher hides the floating button and Slide Panel bar so they do not cover keys. You cannot use those controls while typing.

Lib Launcher's notification panel needs Notification access. Grant it when the app asks, or open Lib Launcher's settings and check Notification access. The rest of the launcher works without this optional permission. Lib Launcher's own notification does not appear inside its notification panel.

Swipe down from the very top edge of the cover screen to open Samsung's panel, then use its brightness control. Lib Launcher does not have a cover screen brightness slider.

Android shows this notification when Lib Launcher has permission to display its floating controls over other apps. Lib Launcher cannot remove or silence the system notification from inside the app.

On One UI 9, apps that have the Accessibility permission are listed with this message in the notification center under Settings → Security and privacy. Android shows it, and Lib Launcher cannot remove it.

Lib Launcher uses Accessibility only to work as a cover screen launcher, for example to show the Recents screen and to launch apps on the cover screen. It does not use Accessibility to read or collect personal information, and nothing is sent off your device. For data handled by Google AdMob, which shows the ads, see the privacy policy.

If you prefer to turn Accessibility off, Recents and “Continue apps after closing” still work on One UI 9 (v1.3.3 or later, with Usage access allowed). These features need Accessibility and stop working:

• Turning the screen off by double-tapping an empty area of the home screen
• The Back button
• Passing a tap on the Slide Panel bar to the button underneath it
• Reopening suggested apps from the Recents screen on the cover screen
• Control in the experimental “Mirror the main screen to the cover” feature

Yes. Lib Launcher shows the same icons as the rest of your phone, so an icon pack applied through Galaxy Themes also appears in Lib Launcher.

To use an icon pack from the Play Store, apply it with Samsung's Theme Park:

1. Install the icon pack from the Play Store.
2. Open Good Lock → Theme Park → Icon → Create new, then tap Icon pack at the top and choose the pack you installed.
3. Apply the icon theme you created.

The new icons appear in Lib Launcher within a few seconds. If some icons still look old, turn the cover screen off and on again. Lib Launcher cannot select an icon pack by itself, and the pack also changes the icons on your main screen. Good Lock is not available in every country.

Lib Launcher is made only for the Galaxy Z Flip cover screen. It has been tested on the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Flip6. It has also been tested on the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Flip8 using Samsung Remote Test Lab, but their cover screens are a different size, so the layout may not look right.

Because it is built around how Samsung's cover screen works, it does not support foldables from other makers, such as the Motorola razr.

Android only lets the phone's default home app see the apps in Secure Folder, so Lib Launcher cannot show them.

Apps you copied with Dual Messenger (for example, a second WhatsApp) do appear.

If a problem continues, a log can help us investigate:

1. Unfold your phone and open Lib Launcher from the main screen's app list.
2. Open Diagnostics and turn on Record a log.
3. Close the phone and reproduce the problem on the cover screen within five minutes. Recording stops automatically after five minutes.
4. Unfold the phone, return to Diagnostics, tap Refresh, then Copy.
5. Paste the log into your message to libratech.lab@gmail.com. Include your phone model, One UI version, what you tried to do, and what happened.
